Greetings.
2. During the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Society, which was held on 17 May 2014, the AGM had approved a proposal relating to subsidies for overseas trips/vacation made by the members.
3. The Management Committee is pleased to circulate the details regarding submission of overseas claims, through this e-mail.
4. Attached are the Guidance Note 2014 and the Claim Form 2014, which are prepared to make it convenient for the members to submit their claims.
5. Pls do read the Guidance Note, before submitting your claim. It consists of terms and conditions and FAQ (which are revised to reflect the amendments in date and such other details).
6. In general, the procedure for submission of claims is quite straightforward, just like the previous round. All eligible members shall have to submit to the Society following documents in hard copies – after the trip.
(a) Duly filled in, and signed “Claim Form 2014″.
(b) Travel documents (invoices/bills and if necessary, other supporting documents) from travel/travel related companies or organizations.
7. The travel documents must contain the name of the member, name of the travel/travel related company or organization, dates of the trip, amount paid, and overseas destination.
8. The maximum subsidy, which an eligible member can claim, is $150 if the member had joined the Society between 1 January 2007 and 12 May 2012 (inclusive of the dates), and $300 if the member had joined the Society before 1 January 2007.
9. If you are submitting your claim through mail/post, pls ensure that the following address is correctly written on the envelope.

10. A member can contact Hon. Treasurer, Mr. Teo Kok Siong , or Mr. John Gerizim, if he/she has any enquiry about processing of claims or date of his/her membership, respectively.
