Dear fellow SOCEH members
COLLECTION OF SUBSCRIPTIONS OF SGD$16 FOR THE YEAR 2020
In April 2020, the Management Committee had informed all members by email that due to the COVID 19 pandemic and the Circuit-Breaker measures our Society’s Annual General Meeting scheduled for Saturday 30 May 2020 had to be postponed. The Management Committee had subsequently sent out the relevant reports for the year 2019. The situation had also prevented the Management Committee from collecting the annual subscription.
2. The Management Committee has now decided to proceed with the collection of the annual subscription of $16 for the year 2020.
3. ALL members are kindly requested to send in a crossed cheque for $16 made payable to “SOCIETY OF ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SINGAPORE”. The member must indicate his/her name in full and contact-telephone number on the reverse side of the crossed cheque. Please send the crossed cheque in a sealed envelope addressed to “The Treasurer, Society of Environmental Health, Singapore, Alexandra Post Office P.O. Box 191, Singapore 159921. We regret we are unable to accept payment by PayPal, Pay-Lah, electronic bank transfers [because such electronic apps/transfers would not indicate the name of the payee (member)].
4. We also like to gently remind that, because of the approved changes to the Society’s By-Laws, Life Members who previously were not required to pay the annual subscription must now also pay the annual subscription of $16 per year. All members are requested to kindly send in their cheques by 31 October 2020. We regret that we will not be sending reminders to individual members on this matter.
