Dear Members of Society of Environmental Health (Singapore),
Notice is hereby given that the 43rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Society of Environmental Health (Singapore) will be held on 10.00am on Saturday 20 May 2023 at the Concorde Hotel, 100 Orchard Road (FAVE on Orchard), #01-02, Singapore 238840.
2. The Agenda of the meeting is appended below:
a. President’s Address.
b. Consider and approve Honorary Secretary report for years ending 2020, 2021 and 2022.
c. Consider and approve previous year’s audited Statements of Accounts and Income and Expenditure Accounts by Honorary Treasurer.
d. Confirmation of minutes of 42nd AGM (held in 2019)
e. Elect Office-bearers and appoint Honorary Auditors for the next term of office (of 3 years or such duration as the AGM may decide). Nominations for the posts of President, Honorary Secretary and Honorary Treasurer shall be proposed and seconded in writing and MUST BE received by the Honorary Secretary, at least 7 days before the AGM (that is 13 May 2023). Nominations must be sent to SOCEH sgsoceh@gmail.com and jaygee48@gmail.com .
Nominations for the other Officers and Auditors should be proposed and seconded at the AGM. A copy of the Society’s Constitution is attached above for members’ careful consideration and strict compliance.
f. Consider and approve budget allocation of Singapore dolllars ten thousand ($10,000) for Society’s expenditures for 2023 to 2026.
j. Any other business.
3. Registration starts at 9.30 am. A buffet lunch will be served after the AGM.
